I use a Weller 325-watt soldering gun. Works perfect and fast. Smaller
irons take too long to heat up the barrel of the connector when soldering
the braid.

IF you use large Iron for your PL259 connectors, what size do you use (in
watts)? IF you wanted to purchase a new Iron, what size would you want? 100,
150, 200, 300? IF you had a choice of tip size, what would you want? 3/8",
1/2", 5/8", 7/8" Don't care? IF you have a Big Iron, did you buy it new or
used and what did you pay for it and when did you buy it? Inquiring minds
want to know!
