[Azham] Want to buy: general coverage receiver

Hi folks:

Does anyone have a general coverage receiver that is excess to your needs?
I am looking for for something for rtty reception, and general poking
around the shortwave stuff.  Needs to at least have am/usb/lsb, decent
sensitivity and selectivity, solid-state, modest size, and a reasonable
price.  I've been looking at something like a Kenwood R-1000, but am open
to suggestions.
