[Azden] PCS-2800 10-Meter Rig

Anyone on this list can explain why I cannot change the repeater offset 
on this rig? Yes, I purchased the rig off the eBAY auction block, all 
other functions do work and I have rf power output into a dummy load 
through my Bird wattmeter. I can program the frequencies and store into 
the memory slots but, when I tx I do not see the frequency display to 
show [example] the repeater input frequency. Should I see the display 
change in the transmit mode?

PS: The book say's the radio should have a fixed crystal for the -100 kz 
offset in place. I have not as yet taken the covers off the rig. I am on 
the way out the door for shome local errands. When I return I will 
remove the covres and see what I can find inside.
