[Azden] Dead Channels on PCS-7500H

Thanks to all who offered ideas.I finally found the problem was radiation
from my computer terminal was causing birdies on the dead channels. This was
mis-leading because there was not the normal modulated signal I am used to
hearing on HF.The Azden simply killed the audio.

I programmed my power save feature to turn off the terminal when not in use
and this solved my problem.

73 with much appreciation............

you opened it up to see if there is any obvious modifications done to it?
The squelch control can be turned so that you hear a click, this is for the
receive decode mode. Do not use this position unless you have the internal
receive decoder board. It will be a CommSpec TS-32 board, I really doubt if
you have it. If it is in your radio, it may be causing the problem.
