[Azden] Can anyone comment on the PCS-5800

The 5xxx series of sets were first marketed about 1986.

It was much better than the 4xxx series, but still has a lithium backup
battery which must be replaced periodically. It's in the head. The
suggested Azden replacement has two cells instead of the original one.
And, I'm not particularly fond of the antenna and microphone connectors
being on flying leads.

I've had good luck installing a coin cell holder on the board instead of
the solder in cell and then using the more common lithium cells.
Although this requires an additional hole in the board, and a jumper wire
to make the connection, it's MUCH easier the next time.

There have been some cases of the VCO unlocking because of the
manufacturing process which involved placing beeswax inside the VCO
enclosure. This can sometimes make the solder fail. This is much more
common in the 4xxx series sets.
