Hi Patrick,

This one has developed a sensitivity problem that is kicking my tail. All
voltage readings are normal and it works pretty good on the upper end of the
bands but as frequency lowers, it goes almost deaf.

I have the "Reporducer" speaker and love the sound it makes plus the FM
coverage is something I like; however the bandswitch location makes some
repairs major surgery. I keep fooling with it hoping to spot the trouble.
Over the past 50+ years this is the most difficult problem I have ever
encountered.

I want to apologize to everyone for sending the message broadcast rather
than to Kim directly. I forgot to check how the reply buttons work.

73,

Jim

SX-42... wow man, I had so much fun with my SX-42 which I bought used
from the original owner a USAF pilot for $75 around 1966-7. Years later
I sold it to a young man who was an avid SWL for $75. I liked the big
matching speaker with two switch selectable characteristics.

Net neutrality is an important issue and has a short fuse. We are about
to be delivered a bad setback if we can't convince our Government to
leave it alone like it has been.
