10 years ago on Saturday September 3, 2005 Oklahoma Amateur Radio Operators responded to provide communications support at Camp Gruber.  Camp Gruber in Braggs, OK is a Oklahoma is a National Guard training base which was used in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to house survivors from the storm ravaged State of Louisiana.
Attached is an PDF with an article published in CQ VHF Magazine, Fall 2005 edition, describing the good works of 80 amateur operators (over a 2 week period) who served to support the responding agencies, staff and storm survivors at Camp Gruber.
