																					This week's W5KUB.com show (December 1st) will feature Emmett Hohensee, W0QH, Chief Engineer of Radiowavz. Emmett will cover a wide range of topics; such as, outside antenna maintenance, winter weather preparation, after the storm, and seasonal care of your antenna systems. Now that winter is almost here, it is time to take care of those antennas. During Emmett's segment, we will open up phone lines to those who would like to call in and ask questions. The chat room will also be available. 

																					 
																					Riley Hollingsworth, K4ZDH, will be back with us again to answer your FCC related questions.  Please send your FCC related questions to Riley at AskRiley at w5kub.com. 																					During the second segment of the show, Dan Romanchik, KB6NU, author of No-Nonsense Study guides, will present a short series of discussions on specific questions found in the general and extra license exams.

																					

																					Amateur Radio Roundtable is a live weekly amateur radio webcast, held every Tuesday night at 8 PM CT (0200 UTC Wednesday) at  W5KUB.com.  The show covers a wide range of topics for ham radio operators and electronic hobbyists; including balloon launches, satellite, go-kits, emergency communications, SDR, digital modes, DXing, home brewing, hamfest updates, and more.  Viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions via the chat room or telephone. 

																					

																					Well it happened again.  It seems that internet providers and browser companies keep making changes that affect our chat room.  Don't worry, the room is still working and your same user name and password work.  We had to make a change which defaults to the HTM5 Chat Room.  The flash room will no longer be available.  You can use it embedded into the page or you can pop out the HTML5 chat with the blue button below the chat.  If you pop it out, you have better control over the page.  You can resize the chat room and you can move it around on your screen. You can even move it to a second monitor if you have one.  It also should work fine now on mobile devices. 

																					

																					We have been using Youtube Live for our main video the past couple weeks.  It appears to do much better than the Ustream video.  Youtube allows us to broadcast in HD quality and there are no advertisements during the video.

																					

																					Our shows are usually recorded and placed on YouTube's W5KUB channel the following day.

																					

																					We need your help.  If you use Twitter, please send out a tweet 15 minutes before the show or retweet our announcement. I suggest something like "live #hamradio show starts in 15 mins on w5kub.com 8 PM CT".  This should help increase our viewer base.

																					 

																					Towards the end of each show, we provide a link and viewers who have a camera, microphone, and a Google+ account, can join the show. Your video and audio will be on the webcast.  This part of the show is very informal and up to 10 people can join. We talk about anything the viewers want to discuss.

																					

																					We would like to share pictures of your ham shack on the webcast. Send a picture of your ham shack with a description and we will feature your shack pictures on the show.  In fact, if you give us your permission, your shack could be used as the background of that week's webcast!
