Bike MS: The Road Divided

Time: Ride begins 8:00 a.m. Saturday; 8:00 a.m. Sunday

Bike MS: The Road Divided is a two-day fundraising cycling event that takes riders on a journey from Norman to Stillwater. Bike MS: The Road Divided begins Saturday morning in Norman. Cyclists will travel north through Central Oklahoma and finish Day 1 for an overnight stay in historic Guthrie. On Day 2, the journey continues from Guthrie to the Bike MS: The Road Divided Finish Line in Stillwater. Participants will experience routes with fully-stocked rest stops every 10-12 miles, a great lunch stop each day and support provided by volunteer nurses, HAM radio operators and law enforcement. 

2015 will mark the 30th Anniversary of celebrating Bike MS in Oklahoma. Join us as we celebrate this milestone year with a new route and a new name!

HAM Radio Support Needed:
Bike MS: The Road Divided
Date: September 26 & 27, 2015

Resposabilities and Job Scope: Safety, Communication, Logistics, Sag and Sweep as needed
Minumum Operaors Needed: 15
Joint Event: Tulsa, Guthrie, Norman  and Stillwater ARC Pending, Tulsa will be Primary
Lodging: Camping,  and Rooms when requested. 
Meeting Point and Routing: Currently in the Planing Stage
Club Equipment Needed: (Level 3) Cammand Post Radio with 50 FT Tower or Push Up Mast,  APRS Full Set up, Digapeaters Full Set-Up. 
Operator Equipment Needed: (Level 2) Over Night Go Bag for 2 Day Event, Portable HT w/ Ext. Antena and Mobile, Reflective Radio Communications Vest, Event Credentualing, 
Provided to Operators: Breakfast Lunch and Dinner Day 1, Breakfast and Lunch Day 2, watter and snacks at Rest Stops, Event T- Shirt, Camping, and Rooms if Needed, Feul Compensation.
Membership Required: No
Walk ins Last Minute Registration: Yes (Rooms may be Filled) Camping will be available
