1300L  15 MAY 2015   DO NOT SELF DEPLOY

  TO ALL ARES-OK,
BRIDGE CREEK - RADIO AMATEUR OPERATIONS CLOSED THE FOLLOWING REQUEST IS FROM Mike Rockey, KE5EQC

The need for Ham assistance by Baptist Disaster Relief has slowed to a point
where they no longer need our communications assistance.  We have closed the AC ARC trailer
and pulled it back to its storage spot in OKC.
On behalf of Stan KS5B, Phil AE5RL myself (Mike KE5EQC) and the whole AC ARC club
we'd like to thank all of you very much.  Your help has been greatly appreciated.
This was our "maiden voyage" using the club trailer for this kind of event and it was also the same
for the Baptist Disaster group to have us (Hams) assisting them.  A big learning experience for us all.

We (Aeronautical Center Amateur Radio Club - ACARC  http://w5paa.com/) have started writing some SOPs for this type of assistance event using what we have learned here.  It should help us get going in a better fashion the next time we are requested assist a group or municipality or other government agency.

Again, Thanks so much for all your efforts.

Mike Rockey  KE5EQC
AC ARC VP
