UPDATE!!!

I recently released a message to support HR 4969.  This was based on an urge from Dan Henderson [N1ND] to support this Legislation.  And, in the recent weekly ARRL Newsletter - our President, Kay Craigie [N3KN] also urged us to support this Legislation (Read article "ARRL President Issues Call to Action to Gain Support for HR 4969, the Amateur Radio Parity Act").

So, all of this was a little early -- as you can see our Section Manager, Kevin O'Dell, opposes this Legislation in its present form.  He is not alone, as I understand that this issue will come up in the upcoming Board Meeting, scheduled for July 21-22, and several others do not like the language of this Bill.

Hold off on contacting your Congressmen until this issue is onboard with everyone.  Thanks --
