We have several "texting which driving" bills in the works.  If you know, or in one the following Districts, please contact your Representative or Senator about the following:

Have them please add an "exemption for amateur radio" to their definition of electronic communication devise.  Without that we feel that they are preempting us from using our radios while driving.  One even says 'handheld device' which would include our microphone.

Thanks -- if you do make contact let Kevin or I know what was said.....  primarily we support the effort to stop 'texting while driving', but we need an exemption for what we do -- specifically written in their bill.
