[ARRL-OK] WINTER WX UPDATE 3 – ARES-OK STAND DOWN 12062013 15300L

TO ALL ARES-OK,  
 
ALL ARES-OK Regions (Z1-Z6) may Stand-DOWN.
  
OKEM and NWS briefings report many areas of Oklahoma has been affected by Winter Weather: mostly bitter cold and sleet snow mix – SE Oklahoma(Zone6) 
has experienced  a damaging Ice Storm – particularly in Le Flore County area .
 
So far no emergency traffic can been collected by any of the Statewide HF Nets. We have discontinued the ARES-OK HF Watch nets for this event – unless they be come warranted.
 
Reminder of regular schedule of Statewide HF nets.
 
DAILY STATEWIDE HF NETS:
 
0900L Oklahoma Salvation Army Group net
3903 kHz Lower Sideband Phone (+/- QRM) 
 
1700LOklahomaWeather & Traffic net 
3900 kHz Lower Sideband Phone (+/- QRM) 
 
1730LSooner Traffic Net
3845 kHz Lower Sideband Phone (+/- QRM) 
 
ARES-OK HF Net is Every Sunday 2130UTC (3:30 pm CST):
 
7260 kHz  Lower Sideband Phone (+/- QRM) 
   
If conditions require the alternate frequency will be at:
3900 kHz  Lower Sideband Phone (+/- QRM) 
 
Net Controllersare asked pass on this notice and to pay special attention to any EMERGENCY TRAFFIC from the effected areas that is directed to Oklahoma SM or SEC.
