Here's the final reminder for the ARRL Emergency Communications Advisory
Committee EC, DEC and ADEC survey. This is being sent via the ARRL
appointment's database and to the SECs with a request to post the message to
their email lists so that we don't miss anyone. We apologize if you
received this twice.
Due to Hurricane Sandy that absorbed the time of many East Coast ECs, DECs and
ADECs the recent ECAC Survey that was to close on Friday, Nov 2, will be
extended through Sunday, Nov 11. We'd like to thank the approximately 40%
of the possible respondents who have now completed the survey. Your
response to this survey is important and we hope that those who have so far not
taken it will be able to set aside some time to respond.
As you do the survey you may click the "PREV" button at the bottom of
each page to go back to review the survey and modify any of your answers and
then click the "NEXT" button to go to the next page. Please be
aware, though, that once you get to the last page which has questions 64 and 65
and click the button that says "NEXT" your survey is complete and you
will not be able to go back. It is a long survey. If you begin and
find that you need more time there is a way to pick up where you left
off. For instance, you nearly finished with the first page but have to
stop. If you click "NEXT" and go to the sec ond
page (and don't answer any questions), you can then close down the
survey. When you click the link it will take you to the
sec ond page and you can hit the "PREV"
button and go back and resume work on page one. If you close down while
still on the page you are working on and go back later, you will have lost your
entries.

Jim Cross WI3N
