[ARRL-OK] Reminder of Special Event - Museum Ships Weekend 2012

Remember this weekend 2-3 May is the "Museum Ships 
Weekend" for 2012. 
 
In addition to the operations shown in the message 
I forwareded earlier in May, an operation is planned 
by the USS Batfish/USS Oklahoma Radio Club over at 
Muskogee. 
 
I think there might also be an operation associated 
with the Texas Maritime Museum which maintains the 
"Elissa" sailing cargo ship at Galveston, TX.
 
This is an annual nationwide (maybe worldwide) event 
and can be very enjoyable. It is not a contest.

June 3 2012 2359Z activating IOTA NA-143 (Pelican Is.) 

Brazos Valley ARC will be operating from radio rooms of WWII 
Submarine USS Cavalla and Destroyer Escort USS Stewart from 
Seawolf Park on Pelican Is. in Galveston, Texas. 
 
We will be operating on 10-80 meters (SSB and CW). 
 
Be a part of living history as we commemorate the actions
