[ARRL-OK] This coming Monday - FEMA drill

Just a note of interest for this coming Monday.
 
On Monday May 16, 2011 FEMA will be conducting a drill involving many of the states to our east. The drill titled National Level Exercise 2011. NLE 2011, will simulate the catastrophic nature of a major earthquake in the central United States region of the New Madrid Seismic Zone (NMSZ).

One element of this drill is a total communication failure.

If you are tuning around the HF bands on Monday you may hear traffic from stations working with various State, County, and local emergency management offices. 
 
The State of Oklahoma and ARES-Oklahoma is NOT involved with this drill.
