[ARRL-OK] NVIS HF antenna this FIELD DAY

Simple construction - yes
simple setup - yes
effective antenna - transmitted equally poorly in all directions - it could hear better than a dipole but had to switch to the dipole to transmit

had to hear a S9+ signal for them to hear us just above the noise level - couldn't be heard in a pileup but could with the 40m dipole on 20 & 15 @ 15'

Used 16g stranded insulated wire to and built specs and had the 25' legs running N & S

now to find another use for 126' of wire

Did anyone else try this antenna with any luck?
