[ARRL-OK] Help Wanted: ARES-OK at OEMA

ARES-OK is again invited to the Oklahoma Emergency Management
Association Conference.  This years conference is in Midwest City @ the
Reed Convention Center. The dates of the conference are Tuesday, Oct 7th
12:OO pm to Thursday, Oct. 9th at 12:00 pm.  The focus times are Tuesday
afternoon and all day Wednesday.

Last year ARES volunteers from Tulsa District maned the table for most of
the conference and took time to talk to most of the EMs in the state as
well as leaders on State Emergency Management. It was very good exposure
for ARES-OK.

I am attending the conference and will take the 2 banners and other
display info and hand outs down to the event and help set up the booth. I
will be able to check into the booth from time to time, but since I am
attending the conference, I will not be able to be at the booth most of
the time.

Need a few sharp volunteers willing to work the event.  No more than 2
volunteers at any one time, it would be best if you own one of the blue
ARES response t-shirts and are versed in the ARES mission and our state
plan.

Primarily looking for folks in the OKC or central state area for
volunteers to work the booth, however if you want to travel from other
places in the state to come help, you help is appreicated.  Please also
pass my contact info onto anyone who would to volunteer. All volunteers
