[ARRL-OK] Oklahoma CW Traffic Nets

Hi,

I was wanting to pass this on to any hams active in CW (If you're not interested, but maybe know someone is, please - please ... pass this on - whether it is a club member or acquaintance.)

There are two CW nets in Oklahoma that are currently meeting on a daily basis.

OTN (Oklahoma slow speed Training Net)
starts around 5:20-5:30 PM
on 7120.6
CW speed runs around 5-10 wpm

OKN (Oklahoma Section CW Traffic Net)
starts at 6:30 PM
on 3552
CW speed runs around 13-18 wpm (but will slow down as needed)

Anyone who has any interest at all in learning about traffic handling is encouraged to check into either net. Both nets are able to handle 'training messages'. Training messages are designed to give new traffic handlers experience in copying formal written traffic, and at the same time, they learn formal net procedures and operations. As 'students' graduate through each section of messages, they can become 'tutors' for new 'students'.

Thanks,
Daniel Reynolds
