I would like to take this opportunity to give my thanks to Charlie Hoy,
KE5FUD, for his excellent work as Emergency Coordinator for Tulsa County.
Especially his hard work in helping make last years SET the success that
it was and helping get our RRTs moving forward.

Charlie has accepted a promotion at his place of employment, and this will
mean an increased level of travel and responsibility at his day job.

Charlie has let us know that his new responsibilities will prevent him
from being able to devote the time and effort required for being a
successful Emergency Coordinator.
Therefore Charlie has resigned his position as Emergency Coordinator, but
he will be continuing on as an ARES volunteer.

Charlie is being succeeded in this position by Jim Southard, W5YYZ.

Many of you know Jim from his work with the TARC and you may remember the
credible job he did planning the communications for last years Toy Run
event.

Jim will be continuing in his position as a TARC officer while serving as
the Tulsa County EC and I am personally looking forward to working with
him.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Jim to his new
position and thank him for stepping up to the plate to help us move
forward with our mission of making Oklahoma ARES a first class
Response Organization.

Thank You for your attention.
