OKARK SKYWARN Net Control Operator Training

OKARK SKYWARN is looking for a few good men & women to be Net Control
Operators (NCO) to help at the Amateur Radio desk with in the Tulsa office
of the National Weather Service.

If you are interested in helping you are invited to a training meeting
being will be held at the NWS office in Tulsa on 31 Jan 2007 at 1800CST.
This meeting is limited to current net controllers and Amateur Radio
operators who are interested in becoming NCO’s at the NWS in Tulsa.  This
is NOT spotter training.

There will be NCO training and demonstrating some of the equipment
available to NCO's as well as running through a mock severe weather
exercise.

REMINDER:
The annual storm spotter training session for 2007 will be held at 0900CST
on 10 Feb 2007. There has been a change of venue; the new location of the
meeting is:
 TTC Lemely Campus at 35th & Memorial in Tulsa.
