The WALB-TV Channel 10 tower is (was) located near Doerun, GA
which is SE of Albany, GA.  Some 100 feet away is (was) the
WXFL Channel 31 tower.  The Ch 31 tower was hit by an Army
helicopter.  The effort to bring down the damaged Ch 31
tower also resulted in the accidental destruction of the
Ch 10 tower.  The link below will take you to both story
