Hurricane Rita ECOM Response Activation:

In anticipation of the arrival of Hurricane Rita on the Texas Gulf cost,
the Tulsa Chapter of the American Red Cross have requested Amateur Radio
to staff the EOC at Tulsa Red Cross HQ (HWY-169 & 11th St).

Initial response will begin operations SATURDAY 09/24/05 0700 hrs local,
and will require 2 operators (1 General class or higher). Operations will
be daily from 0700L to 1700L.

As in the Hurricane Katrina Response this may be a fluid situation as to
number of volunteers need, hours of operations, and location of
operations.

(0700L to 1700L).
