About 1,500 VA employees (included in a total of about
4,000 federal
employees) are missing from areas affected by
Hurricane Katrina.  We know 
displaced residents have gone to locations across the
country, so we'd be 
grateful for your help in publicizing this toll-free
number.
 
Employees should call 1-888-766-2474 as soon as
possible to provide their 
name, position title, location and contact number.
 
Please use any methods that come to mind to spread the
word on this both
