Nov. 19th Folding J-Pole build your own workshop.
On Saturday Nov. 19 we will hold a "hands on" build your own FOLDING
J-Pole workshop. We will start at about 9 a.m. and go till were done.
Bring your parts, your tools, and if you want to sit, a folding chair
would be handy.
The workshop will be held at:
Rons Cycleland, 7120 E. Pine St.(halfway between Memorial Dr. and
Sheridan Rd.) in Tulsa.
Please park in front of the body shop to the west of Rons.
This Folding J-Pole Antenna is a must have for any Amateur Radio
Enthusiast who is willing to help with Severe Weather Communications or
someone who likes to help those in need during and after disaster
situations. The portability of the Folding J-Pole Antenna makes it easy to
carry with you in your boat, RV, car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle, or in a
backpack. When you need a good antenna in a hurry, this is the one for
you. As some of you saw, Robert Coughlin KE5BGX made one, and we had a
chance to use it at Camp Gruber in Braggs, Okla...
The thing worked great! For more info an for your parts list see the .pdf
