Lloyd thank you for this message.  Some time back I contacted the Oklahoma 
News Report on OETA and suggested they report the story of Amateur Radio 
Operators at Camp Gruber.  They had shown several stories about hurricane 
relief and I felt they might be interested in our story.

They responded in a nice tone that the suggestion would be placed in the 
"active file".  This is akin to the round file in broadcasting terms.  So 
each story that is published here I forward to them with links where they 
exist.

Maybe someday they will recognize the human interest side of Amateur Radio 
and the service we perform.  I suggest all Oklahoma amateurs forward these 
stories to their local media outlets in an effort to gain more public 
recognition.
