[ARRL-OK] ABATE/Marine Corps Toys for Tots Toy Run is Dec. 11.

Come on up and bring an (unwrapped) toy - last year we had 33,000 bikes.
This year is the first for using amateur radio for comms, and we'll have at
least 3 TARC members on their bikes (but only one is a Hog) with HT's and
earpieces. They'll be reporting progress and any tie-ups to net control
just like all the stationary hams along the route.

Hogs and Hams just go together, right?

I want to see how many semi trucks it takes to load all the toys. If the
weather holds and the turnout is good, it may take several.

Jay

President - Tulsa Amateur Radio Club

We'll be running the net from 9:30 AM until it's done on 145.11 (neg, PL
88.5) and probably a talk in on another 2m repeater or maybe on the link
system (443.850+ PL 88.5 in Tulsa, plus a dozen linked repeaters in remote
locations).

If I came up, I'd be riding my Harley!
