RE: E-mail Virus Alert

A new e-mail virus is circulating that falsely appears
to originate from FBI e-mail addresses such as
fbi at fbi.gov or police at fbi.gov. The e-mails tell
recipients their Internet use has been monitored by
the FBI's Internet Fraud Complaint Center, and that
they have accessed illegal Web sites. The e-mails
then direct recipients to open an attachment and
answer questions. The attachments contain a virus.

These e-mails do not come from the FBI. The FBI does
not engage in the practice of sending unsolicited
e-mails to the public in this manner.

If you are the recipient of one of these e-mails,
do not open it and delete it immediately.
