That's what the okark.skywarn.org reflector is for. Tailored posts of
storms in your area. Tulsa NWS gives us (the spotters) a heads up when
there's weather in central OK that might come our way. We get one (or two)
posts until the alerts start, then every alert for the warning area. All
without having to get all the alerts for storms that are 300 miles away and
won't be here for 6 hours (or for 2 days, if they move like this batch!).

Perhaps those who know of all these available
warnings should periodically post messages to
inform others of how to get the warnings sent
directly to them.

With the number of free near-real-time email warning sites available, I
don't see the value of second-hand delayed warnings on this reflector. Of
course, if you have a NOAA Weather Radio w/ SAME alerts, you don't need to
rely on email.
