[ARRL-OK] Grounding for Amateurs (from the Icom reflector)

This thread came about on the Icom reflector after
an Arkansas ham had a devastatingly destructive
lightning hit.

One of the messages in response is shown below.

Good advice for all.  It's probably beyond the financial
ability of almost everybody to carry out  ALL  the tasks
shown in the QST series, but the more you can put
into your own home installation, the safe you will be
from lightning damage.

You don't have to be an ARRL member to view these
