   welcoming newcomers:

A new aid for ARRL-affiliated clubs, "Welcoming New Hams and
Prospective Hams to your Club," is available now from the ARRL

Fusaro, W3IZ, the PowerPoint presentation offers ideas on how to
welcome new and prospective radio amateurs to your club.

"The focus here is on how to make a good impression on newcomers
by being friendly and positive when they show up at a meeting,"
Fusaro said. "The presentation focuses on what I call 'the four Is:
'invite, inform, inspire and involve."  The PowerPoint presentation
runs approximately four minutes.
