Greetings:
Congratulations on earning your license. Ham Radio
has many interesting areas to explore!
We usually meet the last Friday of each month. Our
net is on 147.060 Thursday evening at 8:00 PM.
We will have a VE session at the Pryor Public LIbrary
on Saturday the 10th of July from 9:00 AM to about
11:00 AM.
We have over 37 members ranging from age 12 (KE5BNQ)
on up. I just joined the club about 4 months ago, so
I am still learning a lot about it my self.
Please check out the club Web Page at
www.qsl.net/mcarc, and then follow up with me if you
have specific questions. It may be a little slow to
load, but there are pictures of our field day there as
a link.
Perhaps we can add the information to the web page
after we answer your questions personally.
If you would like me to call you, please send your
phone number. I would be happy to try to answer any
questions you may have.
By the way: My wife, KE5BNP, just got her license
about a couple of months ago. I got my novice in 1979
+-.
