Hello OK Section:
This weekend is the Texoma Hamarama at the Lodge in Kingston, OK.
Quite a list of good programs, vendors and flea market to be enjoyed by all.
Look forward to seeing many Section members at the Hamfest. Effort is
underway to work in a League forum. Be looking and listening for the
opportunity to
get an update on Section happenings. Hpe to see many of you.....drive
carefully as we have learned to bring an umbrella to Texoma! Would like to
give the
opportunity for Section leaders and club members to share progress in their
areas. Rising tide elevates all boats.
Also, our PRB-1 bill has been submitted to the OK Legislature. This bill
requires ordinances to reasonably accommodate Amateur Radio Communication
and
Antennas. The bill is being prefiled as this is an advantage when the next
session convenes in 2004. 20 other states have passed this legislation. It
is
time to make connect with your state legislators to talk up Amateur Radio. A
copy
of the proposed bill is available via email.
Hpe your team wins in the World Series and this weekend!
