[ARRL-OK] National Memorial Marathon 4/27 in OKC

Please pass this along to the members of your organization:

On 27 April, the National Memorial Marathon will be upon us.  It's under new
management who want to INCREASE amateur participation.  I've accepted the
responsibility of coordinating communications; a communications plan is
already being written.  We'll need folks from all of the clubs in the OKC
metro area.  Support for the marathon is not just an OCAPA event; it's an
amateur radio event.  Please let your club members know if they wish to
volunteer, go to the marathon Web site (www.okcmarathon.com) and complete
their volunteer page; put 'amateur radio operator' in the comments block.
Coordinators will be appointed shortly for the various aspects of the event.
We'll need around 60+ operators for this event; spread the word!
