Thanks, Mark.
What I sent was:
"As a customer of both commercial cable and public utility companies
using distribution systems, I am very aware of the interference
caused by their failure to maintain the integrity of their lines.
While, for the most part, they are quick to repair problems, problems
still arise. It takes hours and sometimes days for the issues to
be resolved.
Because of the War on Terror, I don't feel Broadband Over Power Lines
is an option I would enjoy. The risk to High Frequency radio
operation, an essential infrastructure during times of disaster, is
great. I have seen no evidence that would make me feel that
commercial power operators can achieve 100% assurance that
interference would NOT occur.
Therefore, I respectfully request the Commission NOT approve BPL.
