I am VERY familiar with that area, and was not surprised to see your
story. That area is a hot spot for Storm Chasers (I use that term
loosely), and the local and county officers are ignorant to the laws. If
a person is looking to get the same treatment you did, just hang around
their long enough with any antennas, annonometers or stickers on your
vehicle.
