[ARRL-OK] Information needed

They still don't have the right to operate where they don't
have a license.  One of the local governments around OKC
recently had their horns clipped by FCC for operating a
repeater on a frequency licensed  ONLY  for a base and
mobiles.  They were given a "cease and desist" order and
now have to move their whole operation to UHF.

The cynic in me says that we won't ever hear of them getting busted.  In
fact I wouldn't be surprised that if they are required to vacate the
amateur band, there would suddenly be vigorous enforcement of stupid
scanner laws and the like, particularly toward out of state hams...
