Where in OKC is a HAM store? The only one I know of is E & S
Electronics on NW 23rd. However, it is not much of a store.

I live in Muskogee and to my knowledge there is no Ham store in Tulsa.I
do recommend for parts/building the Affiliated Electronics 6813 E.
Admiral (Sheridan at Admiral-shopping center on SW corner).
I remember the "Days of the Past" 1950-60's when Radio Inc had a radio
room full of new/used gear. It was the place to go,ran by Ronnie Durham
W5ATB? silent key,now you can still buy small parts there.
In the 70'-80s we had Derrick Electronics in Broken Arrow ran by Jim
Pickett, K5LAD,he had a good stock of new/used gear, but its long gone.
So there is no real "Ham Radio" store in Tulsa, you have to go to OKC or
Dallas or order from mail order.I will put in a plug for "W7FG
Manuals/antenna parts etc",I have been pleased with his service.
I would hope someone would start a Ham Store in Tulsa but no way to
compete with the big buyers elsewhere so no money in that.
I'm a second generation Ham,uncle was W5ALI ,Sam Lemons, from 1931 he
had Muskogee Electronic Supply,he had small parts (no new Ham gear) some
used gear, but would order what you needed from anywhere. He mainly sold
to radio/TV repairmen in Eastern Ok.,but had a lot of small parts.I
remember right after the war, WW2, when hams could get back on the air
he built up a 10 meter AM rig (1946) and there I spoke over it to
another 11 year old in NJ and the ham bug bit me.
