Hello Section Managers,

Please consider passing along the word about this upcoming operating event:
SKYWARN Recognition Day. The fourth annual SKYWARN Recognition Day (SRD)
takes place Saturday, December 7 (UTC). This is the day that Amateur Radio
operators set up stations at National Weather Service (NWS) offices and
contact other operators around the world. The event is sponsored by the ARRL
and the National Weather Service.

Further details may be found in the November QST Public Service column, on
the ARRL Web site, http://www.arrl.org/news/stories/2002/11/16/1/?nc=1, and
at the SKYWARN Recognition Day Web site, http://hamradio.noaa.gov/.

73,

Steve, WV1X
