[Argonaut_USERS_Group] Slightly off topic Argo 556

I know that the intent of this group is to focus on the
"Classic" Analog Argonauts (505, 509 and 515) but
I also have an Argo 556, which is the QRP version
of the Scout.
My question is rather philisophical, but is this rig
considered by most to be an "Argonaut"?
My theory on the Argo 556 name is that it was easy
for Ten Tec to call it "Argo 556" as the name occupies roughly the
same amount of front panel space as "Scout 555".
Expanding the name out to Argonaut 556 would have
required some reworking of the front panel and
would have cost $$$. IMHO this is clearly different
that the naming of the Argosy, which is Argonaut-like
but clearly not explicitly named Argonaut.
I remember seeing a article on the ARRL website
that talked about the lineage of the Argonauts
and it did not make any mention of the 556.

One can use the argument that the 556 is just a
555 (ie Scout) without the 50W PA and is thus
not a true Argonaut, but then how do you explain the
Argonaut II, which if I understand correctly is
basically a QRP version of the Ten Tec Delta?
I know, in the grand scheme of things who really cares?
I'm just curious if anyone has any insight into the naming
of the Argo?

P.S. I also have an Argonaut V and there is a Yahoo! Group
devoted specifically to this rig so queries specifically
related to the V are probably best directed at that group.
