[Argonaut_USERS_Group] Hello, N0VA here

I have successfully subscribed to the Argonaut Users Group.  Thank you, Ed.  I have an Argonaut 509 that is cosmetically a 10 and apparently works as well now as it did when it originally left the factory.

Which leads me to my first question:  Why would TT build such an otherwise nifty qrp rig that on cw operates only qsk (my choice anyway) but that needed the keying cleaned up in the manner described by Larry East, W1HUE, in his modification "Cleaner Keying for the Ten-Tec 509"?

I really enjoy the 509 but would enjoy it a lot more without the initial "pop" in my speaker and subsequent key clicks I hear when transmitting.  Ten-Tec Accessories I have include the crystal calibrator and the model 208 cw filter.  However the filter I employ with it the most is the SCAF-1 from Idiom Press.

Looking forward to some more Argonaut owners getting involved in this reflector.
