I brought some equipment for show and tell last meeting but forgot some key parts to?make the demonstration work.? I will be better prepared this time (maybe).? The demos I have planned will demonstrate the accuracy of various frequency?standards and how to measure their accuracy.? I will bring a GPS standard but I don't have any idea if it will work indoors.? I will also bring a?Rhibidium?frequency standard that is very close in accuracy?to the GPS standard but does not require an antenna to operate.? I will also bring an oven controlled standard that is extremely accurate but not as good?as the GPS or?Rhibidium?standards.? Frequency error will be measured two ways.? One will use a dual trace oscilloscope and the other will use a doubly balanced mixer?with a simple analog meter for indication.? I will also bring a scalar network analyzer?to measure the characteristics of a directional?coupler. Please come if you can.?
