Patricia Davis Stone, the most wonderful and supportive wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, peacefully went into the arms of Jesus on March 9th, 2018. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 49 years, Tony Stone, her daughter, Meredith Stone (Arthur Garza), her brother Alan Davis (Susan Davis), and her two grandchildren, Alejandro and Josephina Garza Stone. Pat was predeceased by her mother and father, Alma and Ray Davis.

An avid writer, Pat graduated with a BA in English from Birmingham Southern College and enjoyed a successful career as a writer and editor for Southern Living magazine and several other companies in the Tampa Bay area.

Pat was passionately committed to supporting the healing of the sick through prayerful touch, serving for years as a student, teacher and practitioner of Quantum Touch.

Most of all, Pat will always be remembered as the most caring and supportive wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend that anyone could possibly have. She will be dearly missed.

A graveside service will be held on March 24th, starting at 4pm at Serenity Meadows (6919 Providence Rd, Riverview, FL 33578). Please feel free to arrive at 3:30 to visit with the family.

We are so thankful for all of her amazing caregivers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Moffitt Cancer Center or LifePath Hospice.

Prayer of St. Francis (for the service folder)

Lord make me an instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred let me sow love
Where there is injury, pardon
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
And where there is sadness, joy

O divine master grant that I may
not so much seek to be consoled as to console
to be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned
And it's in dying that we are born to eternal life
Amen
