	  It's time for another fine AReU meeting, May 3, 2016 we will
    meet at our usual place es at our usual time.
           Be a part of the best technical HAM club hereabouts, a place
    to meet with fellow HAMs to share experiences, get help from more
    seasoned HAMs about everything from operating, equipment es to get
    help with your repair problems.
     (with no demands upon you es no pressure or red tape of any color)

           So remember:
              05-03-16 NEXT Tuesday is our next monthly AReU meeting day.

              REGULAR PLACE      Bell Shoals Baptist, Church building "C"

              REGULAR TIME        7 pm RC, 7:30 meeting begins, if any


    BTW: Everyone is encouraged to post any HAM related questions that
    you or your friends have right here any time in the month.  You can
    ask for any help that you might need. That is what this reflector is
    here for, that es these meeting notices.

    It has come to my attention that the North door is no longer a path
    to our meeting room, please walk around the corner to the right, to
    the West side of this building es enter through the kitchen door.
     (closest to the sports complex next door es it's parking lot)

           So join us at the Bell Shoals Baptist church building "C" in
    South Brandon at 7 for RC or 7:30 for the program, when we have one.
    If you are bringing a program, please let me know so I can advertise
    it.

I have had time to resolve all of the problems with my microwave rig. 
I am ALMOST POSITIVE that it will work properly this time. 
I have mounted the unit on a tripod mount with a 60 cm prime 
focus dish and have tested it for many hours. 


I also have another tripod with an offset fed dish. The transverter 
is also tested and ready but I think that both of them would be just 
too much trouble to bring at one time. 


I also have an LNB for satellite reception that will work great on 
the 10 Ghz ham band. It costs about 10 bucks on E-Bay and has 
a very low noise figure ( 0.1 db). 
It is a PLL unit instead of the standard DRO free running 
oscillator. It is pretty stable when it warms up. I am thinking 
of building a TCXO for better stability. 
I am using it with a Funcube Dongle Pro + but any wide 
band receiver will work as well. I will bring it along also.

Hello, Tony.

I am VERY conscious of your time and energy limitations. Thus I would like to do as much under your easy direction as possible ? AND if it becomes too much please say so.

I am sending some 'overall' shots of the toolbox and its contents. There are closeup shots of the boxed tubes (many of them) just to give you an idea of what this is. I will need to shoot each tube-in-box and tube-without-box (I think to sell this) SEPARATELY and ALSO test the tubes. The days of tube testers in every grocery store are over. Perhaps you know someone who got one of the testers when Eckerds gave them away when they closed their stores? Or something like that?

There are many tubes at the bottom of the case (unboxed) that I did NOT photograph in their heap. Thus there are perhaps 40 more tubes than what can be seen here in the boxes and elsewhere.

NO rush on replying. I am very appreciative of your expertise on this. Not many people are these days.
