[AReU]                                     December 10, 2016 HAMfest

	The Gulf Coast Amateur Radio Council presents the 41st Annual
   ARRL West Central Florida Convention Tampa Bay HAMfest, the Second
   Largest Hamfest in Florida at, the Strawberry Festival Grounds Expo
   Hall in Plant City, Florida	Talk-in Freq  145.41 -131.8 Hz 	
     Friday & Saturday December 9 & 10, 2016

     For 2016 we have moved to a new building, still on the Florida
   Strawberry Festival grounds, just a different building.  We will now
   be in the Expo Building for our HAMfest.

   Parking es tailgate will be on the block East of the Expo Building.

     AReU is a participating member of the Gulf Coast Amateur Radio
   Council.

   With farm work to do I let the first day slip past me inadvertently.
   Today I was fashionably late (half an hour) but I got the AReU table
and set it up quickly.  I roamed around a bit and I bought mostly small
antenna stuff things.  I got a full set of Millen GDO coils in the
original black wrinkle stand that I will adapt to coils used with the
miniVNA, (for $1.00  I need more cheap junk)
   Everyone packed up, so I did also and I left at 1:30 pm, a good time
was had by all.
