   Cute, three diodes, two transistors and one IC $12 + $5 shipping.

   We tried the "build yourself a transmitter" before and it went over 
like a lead balloon.  (I still have the crystal {21.165 MHz} somewhere)
Without a keyer I am sure I would not enjoy it.  (Iambic)
