Greetings to all,
I have a question for the group.
Why does a Heathkit Cantenna,  filed with oil, start to bubble up with it connected 

to an AC wall socket. Have I miss-calculated the amount of current draw
with a 50 ohm resister . 120vac divided by 50 ohms is about 2.4 amps times the voltage I figure around 288 watts.
Whats your take on it?
