My friend Gary K4CYC is looking for someone to repair his VX5R - I assume he
means this walkie talkie:

He is unable to get it back together due to a problem with a ribbon
connection, and it also needs to have the charger receptacle on the side of
the HT cleared. 

He cannot get the plug to snap all the way in for charging. 

He says there is something wrong in it that prevents the connection, and
which he cannot get cleared.

 

Can you recommend someone to help Gary?
