[AReU] Antenna Information Needed

I have a Diamond X500HNA antenna, a few years old but never used before now.  
As is supposed to be the case, there is no center to outer antenna connector continuity, but the antenna has quite a high SWR on both UHF and VHF
I am seeking information on how to troubleshoot this antenna -
Are there any other tests we can run?
for example, there are four ceramic disk capacitors inside the radome with no markings on them - what values are these capacitors supposed to be? 
All the same capacitance?  Differing values?
Can't get the bottom section of the antenna open - does anyone know a nondestructive method to get the bottom section apart?

Any ideas?
