[AReU]                                             May, 2006 meeting

   Well time marches along and it's just a few days until another fine
AReU meeting.

   Next TUESDAY May 2, 2006 we will meet at our usual place at our
usual time.

   Tom K4PQD has (in the past) resented an excellent program entitled:
"single point grounding" that carefully described how to properly
ground your station equipment so you can continuously operate your
station during lightning storms (without damage) just as commercial
equipment, Radio stations, telephone equipment, and the others do.

   In just a day or two the program shall be, me (Ron KA4INM) talking
about lightning.  I will explain much that I have learned to help those
there, understand how it works and possibly how to duck, here in Florida
this knowledge is important.


So remember:
     05-02-06 Tuesday is our next meeting.

     REGULAR TIME        7 pm RC, 7:30 meeting begins
		
   Everyone interested in our club (which offers technical programs
and help in person and on line) continuing, needs to come if they
possibly can, and support we few (hard) core members.

   So be a part of the best technical Ham club here a'bouts,
join us at the Bell Shoals Baptist church (north end) at 7 for RC
or 7:30 for the program.  ARe U going?
